The car is a Worthy chassis 2001 Firebird roadster, built primarily for Super Gas racing in the North-West, with a 541 IA block with wide port heads, power glide and a Mark Williams modular 12 bolts. Virtually all work was performed "in house" with the exception of the base chassis. In Super Gas trim (9.90 E.T.) it runs 160 mph in the quarter. I have never run the car flat out, but all the numbers indicate mid 8.20s at mid 160s mph. |
